Ho Ledinh execution: Police seek woman seen in CCTV near Bankstown cafe before murder

POLICE have released CCTV vision of a female seen walking into a shop with another woman who was later charged with the execution murder of Sydney lawyer Ho Ledinh outside a coffee shop.

POLICE have released CCTV vision of a female seen walking into a shop with another woman who was later charged with the execution murder of Sydney lawyer Ho Ledinh outside a coffee shop.

The pair entered a St Vincent de Paul clothing shop in Bankstown at 3pm on January 23 — about 35 minutes before Mr Ledinh was gunned down as he sipped his coffee outside the nearby Happy Cup cafe at Bankstown City Plaza.

At 3.15pm, the unidentified woman emerges alone from the charity shop, which is located about 600m from the cafe where the shooting took place.

“Anyone who knows the woman, or who has information relevant to the investigation, is urged to get in touch as soon as possible,” Detective Acting Superintendent Grant Taylor of the NSW Homicide Squad said.

He said the woman or others may have vital information about the murder of the 65-year-old Mr Ledinh.

Dressed in a black T-shirt, tracksuit pants and wearing thongs the woman, aged in her 20s, is allegedly in the company of Analosa Ah Keni, who police claim was involved in surveilling Mr Ledinh’s movements before he was killed.

She was charged with his murder on March 9 and was refused bail in Goulburn court. Three weeks earlier the alleged gunman Arthur Kelekolio, 38, was arrested at Sydney International Airport before he left boarded a flight to Bali and was refused bail when he appeared in central court on February 14.

“We have received incredible support from the community, which includes receiving large numbers of witness statements, and providing hundreds of hours of CCTV, mobile phone vision, and dash-cams.

“Our inquiries are ongoing, and we’re determined to provide answers to Mr Ledinh’s family. ” Detective Taylor said.
