More anti-Semitic graffiti has been spotted around Sydney after officials denounced graphic vandalism overnight in Woollahra.
On Wednesday, hours after two cars were discovered vandalised, another torched and several homes daubed with anti-Israel slogans, a separate set of anti-Semitic graffiti was found in the city’s south.
Spotted at an Arncliffe construction site, the graffiti, addressed to Sydney’s Jewish community, claimed “Hitler was right”.
“You! Yes-you,” the graffiti read.
The scribble also claimed “all banks are owned by Jews” and “Westfield = Jews”.
The graffiti in Arncliffe and the incident in Woollahra are the latest in a string of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic incidents in recent weeks, including last week when a major Melbourne synagogue was destroyed by fire.
The building blaze prompted Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to announce a task force to investigate rising anti-Semitism in Australia.
