A man who allegedly called nurses at a Western Sydney hospital “f***ing c***s” in an extraordinary verbal tirade before assaulting a police officer, has been given bail in court just hours later.
Police said Haydar Albaseri, 20, insisted on riding in an ambulance with a female patient who was intoxicated at a home in Guildford around 1am this morning.

Police allege in court documents Albaseri became highly agitated when he was denied access to a room in Auburn Hospital where the woman was being treated. As police arrived and began speaking to paramedics they heard Albaseri say “that f***ing dumb Indian c***, f*** that c*** I, did nothing wrong”, police allege in court documents.
He allegedly continued to “call the nurses f***ing c***s” and police repeatedly asked him to leave.

Police allege Albaseri then turned his attention to the officers calling them “f***ing pigs”.
“You can f***ing drive me home I’m not walking anywhere,” he allegedly said.
In a media statement, police allege Albaseri then got in a physical altercation with police.
“He moved his head back and forth in a headbutting motion, with no contact made however, shortly after, he pushed a Senior Constable before he was restrained by officers,” the statement said.

The officer sustained a graze and swelling to his right knee.

Albaseri was taken to Auburn Police Station and charged with assault police officer in execution of duty, refuse/fail to comply with direction and behave in offensive manner.
In Parramatta Bail Court later Sunday morning, senior criminal solicitor Michael Moussa successfully argued for bail, saying despite the outburst Albaseri did not represent an unacceptable risk to the community, was young and had solid employment.
Mr Moussa also argued the police facts suggest his client resisted arrest rather than assaulted police, which is the offence he was facing.

Albaseri was granted conditional bail to report once every Saturday to Fairfield Police Station and not to enter Auburn Police Station unless in the case of an emergency.
The incident at Auburn Hospital came less than 24 hours after another man allegedly headbutted a security guard as he was escorted from the Sutherland Hospital emergency department.
Paramedics were later called to a home in Miranda where the same man allegedly demanded to be taken to hospital and spat on paramedics.
He was arrested and taken by police back to Sutherland Hospital where he allegedly tried to bite on of the officers.
