A woman has died after a tragic boat crash in the state’s north at the weekend. Here’s what we know.

A woman has died after a tragic high-speed boat crash near Grafton at the weekend.

Emergency services were called at about 2.40pm on Saturday to Seelands Hall Rd at Seelands, following reports a water skier had been injured following a crash on the Clarence River.

NSW Ambulance Paramedics and specialist Air Ambulance Paramedics attended the scene to find a 49-year-old woman with extensive injuries.

Despite best efforts, the woman could not be revived and died at the scene.

Coffs/Clarence Police and officers from Marine Area Command are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash.

A coroners report will be prepared.
