Vacant blocks of land in a new residential subdivision are being snapped up by eager buyers.

Tucked in behind the new Pacific Highway at 21 Jubilee Street, Townsend, 11 of the 32 lots at Peak View Estate have already been sold or are currently under offer.

Priced between $175,000 to $325,000 each plot has access to town water, underground power and NBN fibre to the kerb.

While neighbouring properties can boast large backyards and some privacy, most of those keen to buy in Peak View Estate will be limited to a plot around 403.5 square metres with views overlooking their neighbours.

But for a working household looking to own a low-maintenance property, this estate will be perfect.

Meanwhile, for the lucky buyer of Lot 2, they not only pick up a much larger parcel of land, but get the added bonus of an American barn already on the property, all for the price of $325,000

This is the third time this parcel of land has been bought and sold in the last two decades. In 2007 the property was purchased for $645,000. Then, in 2018 this 2.49 hectare property, along with a rustic three-bedroom home plus three-bay American barn, was sold for $395,000. At the time of the sale, it’s understood the property was already zoned 2A Low Density Residential with a previously approved DA for subdivision.
