The following decisions have been imposed by magistrate Kathy Crittenden in Maclean Local Court on Thursday, June 17, 2021:
DESMOND GEORGE FERGUSON was convicted of driving with a middle range PCA, driving with an unrestrained passenger and driving unlicensed, and was sentenced to a Community Correction Order for a period of 12 months. Ferguson is disqualified for three months from holding any driver‘s licence and must hold an interlock driver‘s licence for a minimum period.
RICHARD J GROBBEN was convicted of driving unlicensed and was sentenced to a Community Correction Order for a period of 12 months. The court disqualified Grobben from holding a drivers/riders licence for 12 months.
STEPHEN JONATHAN MORGAN was convicted of drink driving, two counts of negligent driving and two counts of property damage, and was ordered to pay $200 each for the latter two offences. Morgan was sentenced to a Community Correction Order for a period of 12 months, is disqualified for six months from holding any driver‘s licence and must hold an interlock driver‘s licence for the minimum period.
RHILEY BROCK BUTLER was found guilty of driving with a middle range PCA. He was sentenced to a 12-month conditional release order with no conviction recorded.
KELLY WATSON was found guilty of possessing prohibited fishing gear and taking fish for sale without a commercial fishing licence. She was sentenced to a nine-month conditional release order with no conviction recorded.
