The Clarence Valley is a beautiful place to live. Sadly, it’s not immune to unusual and illegal activity. Here are just some of the latest incidents currently under investigation with Coffs-Clarence Police:
STOLEN BOAT AND TRAILER
At around 4.36am on Friday, October 15, a boat and trailer were stolen from a Lawrence property. CCTV footage of the incident shows the vessel being towed away by a dark-coloured dual cab utility which was last seen heading west on Rutland Street, Lawrence.
Coffs-Clarence Police are appealing to the public to come forward if they have any information about the incident by calling Grafton Police on 6642 0222 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000.
MYSTERY ITEMS FOUND
Coffs-Clarence detectives recently located items (pictured below) as well as other property in Korora on Sunday, September 26.
Detectives are currently looking for the owners of these items which include tools and a cap.

TRUCK DRIVER ASSAULT
Coffs-Clarence Police are seeking information from the public regarding an assault on Ashby-Tullymorgan Road, Tullymorgan on Thursday, September 30.
At around 9.30pm, a commercial freight truck driver was assaulted by a male described as caucasian in appearance, six feet tall, medium build, short blonde hair, wearing a red shirt and dark pants. The male was a passenger in a silver utility/4WD, possibly a Holden Colorado dual cab which was driven by a female.
Anyone with information that may help identify the man is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Police Report E 83605732 relates.
MISSING MACLEAN MAN
Police are still appealing for public assistance to locate Maclean man John Parkes who was last seen leaving his home at around 6am on Monday, October 11. He was driving a silver Subaru XV sedan with NSW registration plates BDX 38X.
After his family alerted police, extensive land searches in Maclean and searches of the Clarence River along Yamba and river Roads were conducted. However, neither he nor his vehicle were located.
Police and family hold grave concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions.
John is described as being of caucasian appearance, between 165cm to 170cm tall, of a thin build, grey hair, with no facial hair and blue eyes. He is known to frequent many locations in the Maclean area.
