A registered Clarence Valley child sex offender breached orders put in place to protect the community after committing heinous crimes, including making abuse material.
Dean Garry Bolton, 30, was convicted of several offences in 2017, including sexual intercourse with a child aged under 10 and using a child aged under 14 to make child abuse material.
He served a prison sentence of six years and three months and was released on parole in March last year.
The man who lives at Palmers Island near Yamba was subsequently placed on The NSW Child Protection Register.
On Friday, Bolton faced Grafton Local Court.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of failing to comply with reporting obligations and another charge.
Last month, the court heard he “showed blatant disregard” for strict child protection orders.
Members of Bolton’s family supported him in court at the time.
Apart from the serious child sex offences, the court heard he had limited criminal history.
Bolton was sentenced to an eight month intensive corrections order as an alternative to jail.
