CLARENCE River's cricketing community is in mourning following the deaths of two much-loved members.
Coral Frame, the wife of champion sportsman Neil, and Clarence River Cricket Association patron Reg McLennan both passed away at the end of last week.
Frame's daughter Karen Cleaver described her mother as a woman who went to great lengths to accommodate local cricket.
"She was a very supportive cricket wife," Cleaver said.
"She and dad ran the canteen for a few years and she'd usually put on a feed for touring teams when they came through town."
Frame's contribution to local cricket was recognised by the CRCA with the Monday Night Competition winners' trophy named the Neil and Coral Frame Shield.
Current Souths Services players Chris and Brendan Cleaver and their cousin Jake Frame are all grandsons of Coral and Neil Frame.
McLennan was named patron for the 2013/14 CRCA season.
