A 62-year-old man suffered a cardiac condition and required an urgent medical transfer from Maclean Hospital this afternoon.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked at 12.20pm to carry out the urgent medical transfer.
The 62yo male patient was stabilised by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to being airlifted in a stable condition to John Flynn Hospital on the Gold Coast to receive urgent specialist treatment.
