A CCTV film has emerged of the Merivale kingpin directing the strip search of one of his staff until he was semi-naked from the waist down.
The video, which emerged after The Sunday Telegraph revealed in November how former employee Danny Luu was suing Hemmes over the incident, shows one security guard blocking the exit to an office while another pats Mr Luu down.
Luu was suspected of stealing thousands of dollars from the Establishment hotel in the city.
“Do you know who the f... I am?” Hemmes allegedly demanded, according to court documents.
One of Hemmes’ security staff, a former cage fighter, also shouted at Luu: “Where is Justin’s money?”

The incident unfolded about 7am on September 4, 2010, after Luu, a bartender, had finished his shift at the George St bar.
The footage was played in the Sydney District Civil Court during a trial last year. The plaintiff was suing Hemmes for false imprisonment, assault and trespassing.
Luu said his genitalia were examined during the strip search, which uncovered a small quantity of cocaine, methylamphetamine and ecstasy.
He was eventually convicted of drug possession and received community service.
After Hemmes and his guards failed to find any money, they took the barman to his home on Wentworth Ave in the city.
They found nothing, but Luu said in his affidavit the apartment “was a complete mess and looked trashed”.
The case ended before Luu could be cross-examined, with both parties agreeing to an out-of-court settlement.
When contacted for comment, a Merivale spokeswoman said: “The footage you refer to is from 2010 and the matter was resolved some time ago.
“We have no further comment to make in this respect.”
