Driver from Greenacre school crash appears in court
THE mother-of-four accused of killing two Sydney schoolboys when she crashed into a classroom at Greenacre earlier this month did not enter a plea during her first appearance in court.

THE woman accused of killing two Sydney schoolboys when she crashed into a classroom at Greenacre earlier this month made a brief appearance in court today.
Classmates Andrew Encinas and Jihad Darwiche both died after a vehicle driven by Maha Al-Shennag allegedly hit the boys at Banksia Street Primary School on November 7.
Ms Al-Shennag, a mother of four from Punchbowl, did not enter a plea when she appeared in Bankstown court today.
The matter was adjourned to Burwood court on February 21.
She was surrounded by a small group of supporters as she left.

About 9.45am on November 7, a Toyota Kluger struck a wooden building at the school in Greenacre. Twenty-four children, aged between seven and 11, and a female teacher were inside the building at the time.
Ms Al-Shennag, 52, has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death — drive manner dangerous, and negligent driving (occasioning death).
She is also charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and causing actual bodily harm by misconduct.
Police do not believe the crash was an “intentional act”.
Three tradesman working nearby rushed to help, lifting the front of the Toyota — that had smashed through a wall of the classroom — off one of the badly injured children.
They then provided CPR for five to seven minutes.
