Donald Trump gifts to Scott Morrison revealed
The former US President gave the Prime Minister several expensive and unlikely presents after a series of meetings between the leaders.

Former US President Donald Trump sent Prime Minister Scott Morrison more than $10,000 worth of gifts while he was in office.
Mr Morrison’s haul included a $3,700 framed map of the Coral Sea, a $3,700 model of the USS Canberra, a $3,000 calfskin leather photo album and a $1,200 Paul Revere silver Tiffany bowl.
The items were presented to the Mr Morrison on September 20, 2019 after a series of meetings between the two leaders.
Newly released documents show that other high-ranking officials lined up to present Mr Morrison with gifts.
Former Vice President Mike Pence gave the Australian leader a $3,700 wooden cross with the vice president seal.
“Cross is made from an oak tree from the VP’s (vice president) residence. Valuation provided by White House Gift Officer,” a description of the item said.
Meanwhile, the former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo gave Mr Morrison a mahogany dressing box with a federal eagle emblazoned on it.
The Australian Prime Minister gave Mr Trump a statuette of Australian legend, Leslie “Bull” Allen.
The bronze figurine depicts the Australian who saved dozens of American lives during World War Two at the Battle of Mount Tambu.
He also gave former first lady Melania Trump a classic pair of yellow gold stud earrings and their son Barron a personalised Socceroos jersey.
The two countries have a history of sharing eccentric gifts with former president Barack Obama receiving crocodile insurance while in Australia in 2011.
The $50,000 policy was presented by the chief minister of Australia’s Northern Territory.
Even Malcolm Turnbull, who clashed with former president Trump while the pair were in office, received a gift from the US.
Mr Turnbull received a $1,500 telescope from Mr Trump. While the Australian PM gifted the former American leader with a pair of RM Williams boots.
