THIS loveable pooch took dog training to a whole new level when he caught a Sydney-bound train alongside dozens of bemused commuters today.

Sydney Trains posted a picture of the cross breed after it disembarked alongside early morning commuters at Central Station.

Station staff believe the unidentified dog may have followed its owner to a station and boarded the train without the person knowing.

They tweeted out a picture of the dog in the hope its owner may come forward and take the weary traveller home.

‘This good boy caught a train to Central all by himself today,’ the Tweet reads.

‘Staff are arranging care. Do you know him? Please contact us.’
