A jailed Comanchero who once dubbed himself as ‘the most dangerous man in Australia’ has faced court once more after being hit with fresh charges of historical assault.

Former Comanchero sergeant-at-arms Ian Clissold was in Silverwater jail when arrested by police.

Strike Force Muecke detectives laid fresh charges against the 60-year-old after speaking with a 27-year-old woman about alleged incidents between 2017 and 2020.

He was charged with aggravated sexual assault - inflict actual bodily harm on victim, two counts of special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-weapon, two counts of common assault, and attempt to cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent.

On Tuesday, Hannah Dempsey of Blaxland lawyers, requested an adjournment for the fresh charges, which are “strictly indictable” to be listed on the same day as his previous matters. Ms Dempsey declined to comment about whether Clissold would be making another bid for bail.

Police will allege in court Clissold – who is known to the woman – sexually assaulted her in May 2017 and physically assaulted her in June 2020 during a break in at her home.

Clissold was remanded in custody to face Penrith Local Court on Tuesday.

The latest charges follow previous police investigations into reports a 29-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by Clissold between 2017 and 2021.

Clissold was charged in April as part of that investigation and remains before the courts.
