Nearly 90 per cent of the apartments to be built on a prime corner block at the Coffs Harbour Jetty have been snapped up just days after going on the market.
The six-storey luxury apartment block was only recently approved by Coffs Harbour City Council.
The block on the corner of Collingwood and Edgar Streets, Coffs Harbour, is just a stone’s throw from the ocean and in the heart of the sought-after jetty precinct.
For years, the block sat overgrown with a derelict house at 47 Collingwood Street.
Australian developer Third.i launched sales of the $35.5 million project, known as Sable at the Jetty, late last week and already 85 per cent of apartments have been snapped up.
The remaining apartments are priced from $650,000 to $2.35 million.
There are a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments available and early works are expected to start this year.
The project is due to complete by the second quarter of 2024.
Third.i co-founder Luke Berry said the firm’s debut Coffs Harbour project will help fill a gap in the market for quality coastal homes.
“Sable at the Jetty is our first project here at Coffs Harbour, so we’ve ensured it exceeds expectations and lives up to the legacy I know it will leave for the region,” Mr Berry said.
“Encouragingly, sales results at our launch event last week show us we’ve done exactly that.”
The apartments enjoy sweeping ocean views as well as rainforest vistas.
“The Jetty is an icon for the city and has come to symbolise the next major chapter of the city’s economic growth,” Mr Berry said.
Other Third.i developments on the east coast include Dairy Farmers Towers in Newcastle, Balfour Place in Lindfield, Warada on Walker commercial precinct in the North Sydney CBD and the Merewether Residences in Newcastle.
