Police were planning to stop a Subaru Impreza for a random breath test when the hatchback swung into the front carpark of the Hoey Moey Hotel.
When police asked the driver to produce her licence just after 4pm on October 6, she admitted it was disqualified - but showed officers a NSW Photo Card.
Rhonda Louise Davis pleaded guilty to drive motor vehicle during disqualification period - second offence when she appeared at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Wednesday.
Checks revealed the 42-year-old Yamba woman’s licence was disqualified from April 2015 through to January next year.
Asked why she was on the road, Davis said “I’m just coming to see a friend”, facts state.
Further police checks showed Davis was found guilty at Coffs Harbour Local Court on June 28 of driving while disqualified.
Magistrate Julia Virgo has adjourned the latest matter to January 16 for sentencing.
