A 30-year-old Coffs Harbour woman facing several domestic violence and drug-related charges found herself in court again after she allegedly trespassed on a man’s property, intimidated him and smashed the windscreen of his car.
Casey Anne McPherson appeared before Coffs Harbour Local Court this week where she entered pleas for the fresh charges.
In documents tendered to the court, police allege Ms McPherson breached an apprehended violence order when she allegedly entered the protected person’s Boambee property.
It is alleged she intimidated the man and damaged the front windscreen of his Kia sedan.
Police further allege she was found in possession of 8mg of buprenorphine.
The court documents stated the alleged victim suffered mental anguish and was in fear after what was alleged by police as being part of a series of offences committed by Ms McPherson.
Ms McPherson, a self-employed mother-of-three, was charged with contravening an apprehended violence order, stalking and intimidation, entering enclosed land without a lawful excuse, destroy or damage property and possessing a prohibited drug.
She was granted bail on conditions that she was of good behaviour, reported to police regularly and did not contact two different protected people, including the man and another woman.
She pleaded guilty to contravening the order and possessing the buprenorphine but pleaded not guilty to all the other charges.
She will appear in the court again on November 15.
Ms McPherson was also due to be sentenced on a number of charges she pleaded guilty to previously, including possessing a prohibited drug, drug driving and intimidation, but those matters were adjourned.
For other previous charges she pleaded not guilty to, including having custody of a knife in a public place and possessing a prohibited drug, a hearing was set down for July 28 next year.
