The man who fled from police only to get arrested in a traffic jam outside the Coffs Harbour Police Station has pleaded guilty to several offences.
Jordan Stanley Richards will be sentenced on June 9 at Port Macquarie Local Court.
Just before 2pm on Saturday, April 24, police received reports of a Peugeot sedan travelling south at excessive speed on the Pacific Highway towards Coffs Harbour.
Officers from Coffs Harbour Traffic and Highway Patrol saw the vehicle travelling above the 110 km per hour speed limit and attempted to stop the vehicle near Sapphire Beach.
The Peugeot failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated travelling through Korora before being terminated due to safety concerns.
A short time later, police patrolling the Coffs Harbour CBD saw the Peugeot stopped in heavy traffic outside the police station.
30-year-old Richards was removed from the vehicle and arrested.
He recently appeared in court and entered a plea of guilty for the following offences:

- Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period - 2nd+off
- Use unregistered registrable Class A motor vehicle on road
He did not apply for bail and sentencing has been listed for June 9.
