A Coffs Coast gathering fuelled by alcohol and music went south when a young woman told the group “this b-tch isn’t staying here” before she launched a vicious attack.
Alexia Johnson punched another young woman in the head in the fracas between 7.50am and 8.20pm on June 22.
The victim had blood running down her face and asked the group “Is my head bleeding?”.
Court documents state the victim went to Bellingen Hospital and received stitches for a “small star shaped wound with a diameter of approximately 2cm” on her head.
The treating doctor recorded: “The penetration of the wound went to the bony surface and bone was on view”.
The prosecution stated that Johnson was arrested later that day and self-harmed with a razor blade in the back of the police vehicle.
She was later taken to Bellingen Hospital for treatment.
Johnson pleaded guilty to reckless wounding in Coffs Harbour court this week before Magistrate Theresa Hamilton.
She remains in custody.
The case returns to court on December 16.
