THANK you Simon Young (CCA, Nov 30) for sticking up for low-paid workers in retail, hospitality and service employment. The suggestion by employers that reducing penalty rates for weekend work will result in jobs growth is hogwash. Let's have justice and fairness for workers who allow us to enjoy our weekends.
