North Bonville's "shoe house" is straight out of the nursery rhyme The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.
Originally part of the Storyland Gardens tourist attraction which closed years ago, the shoe was built as the family home of the owners.
The home is for rent through Century 21 Foreshore 2 Farms.
While the outside might be all about fiction, the interior of the shoe is just as functional as your average suburban home.
The floorplan is across three levels and includes plenty of room for all those children with five bedrooms or four bedrooms and a study. There are also three living areas.
The shoe house on Berkley Dr is for rent for $400 a week.
