Nathan Gary Cracknell in Coffs Harbour court on drugs, weapons charges

A Coffs Harbour man has pleaded guilty to possessing drugs and weapons including a pistol, but plans to fight other charges. Here’s what happened in court.

A Coffs Harbour man has pleaded guilty to possessing drugs and weapons including a pistol, but plans to fight other charges.

Nathan Gary Cracknell appeared before Coffs Harbour Local Court on Tuesday on seven charges including three possessing a prohibited drug and two supplying a prohibited drug.

He was also charged with possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit; and possessing an unauthorised pistol.

The offences were all alleged to have occurred on October 15.

Defence lawyer Hugo Schleiger told the court his client would be entering guilty pleas to the three charges of possessing drugs but would be pleading not guilty to the two supply charges.

Cracknell has also pleaded guilty to the two weapons-related charges.

The 45-year-old has been on bail since October 15.

His matter will return to court on February 11 next year.
