‘Knew I would win’: Coffs woman predicts $5m prize

A Coffs Harbour woman who won $5 million in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw has confessed she always knew she was going to win.

She held one of the two division one winning entries across Australia in Oz Lotto draw 1432. She’s walked away with an incredible $5 million.

The woman revealed she plans to celebrate becoming a multi-millionaire with a cup of tea and some breakfast while sharing the news with her family.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her life-changing marked five-game entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.

Apparently she had been waiting for her division one win for years.

“Oh my god, thank the lord,” she laughed.

“I hadn’t checked my ticket yet. I had absolutely no idea. I have been telling people for ages that I was going to win Oz Lotto one day. I really, really knew I was going to win.”

First up she was going to call her daughter and share the news.

“She’ll be jumping up and down and screaming.

“I am going to have to go and have a cup of tea and some breakfast so I can calm down.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy life as a multi-millionaire, she said she was overwhelmed by the possibilities.

“I am going to pay off the mortgage,” she explained.

“It’d be nice to do some small trips around Australia too.

“I will share it with my family, and I will do something to spoil myself. I really can do whatever I want now.”
