Lane closures with contraflow traffic arrangements will be in place on the Pacific Highway northbound and southbound carriageways between James Small Drive (north) and south of the Luke Bowen pedestrian bridge on Thursday and Friday from 6pm to 7am A single lane closure will be in place from 6pm to 7am Monday to Friday on the Pacific Highway northbound carriageway between Sawtell Interchange and Englands Road/Stadium Drive  For the safety of cyclists and workers, the project will temporarily close the Pacific Highway southbound shoulder between James Small Drive north and south. From Tuesday, cyclists are advised to use James Small Drive to ride south. This temporary detour will be in place until early 2026. Motorists will see extra truck movements daily as part of the construction project and the delivery of concrete girders. Please allow additional travel time. A temporary speed of 60km/h will remain in place through the project work zone.
