His friend Russel Soper told the Daily Mercury on Saturday he had rounded up some mates to drive "old school cars" to the funeral to "show our respect to the man we all loved, our mate Brad".
As well as asking friends to "bring your pride and joy", Mr Soper said the funeral would be about "banding together, spinning a few yarns, checking out the cars and honouring our mate Brad".
"It's what he would he would have wanted and I know he will be watching on with that big cheeky grin of his," he said.
The family has asked for donations to be made to Alzheimer's Australia in lieu of flowers.
The family has asked media not to cover the funeral.
