A man charged with supplying drugs and plotting to commit assault in company has been ordered to stay away from the Bandidos and abide by a night-time curfew.
David Alexander Anthony is facing 12 charges including nine charges of supplying drugs and two separate charges of supplying drugs on an ongoing basis.
In addition to the drug matters, Anthony is charged with conspiracy to commit an assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others.
It’s alleged the offending took place between September 2023 and October 2024.
Anthony has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges and is currently on bail.
As part of his bail conditions he has been ordered not to attempt to make contact with any member or associate of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, by any means including telephone and social media or through a third party, other than a legal representative.
The 60-year-old must report to Coffs Harbour Police Station three times a week and not go within two kilometres of any point of international departure.
He appeared in Coffs Harbour Local Court on Tuesday to request a change to his night-time curfew to allow him to attend work.
Magistrate Theresa Hamilton altered his bail, noted in court documents as home detention, to attend his place of employment between 5am and 8pm.
He has been ordered not to drink alcohol or enter any premises in which alcohol is sold, other than a licensed restaurant.
Anthony must not use or possess any encrypted device, or other means of communicating via encrypted applications, including WhatsApp, Snapchat, Wickr, Viber, KIK Messenger, Zoom, Discord, WeChat or Telegram.
He must also provide a schedule to the police officer in charge of his case a week in advance in regard to where he will be working in accordance with his curfew allowing him to continue work.
His case has been adjourned to February 11.
