1. Autumn Orchid Show 2021
What: The Coffs Harbour Orchid Society is pleased to present its 2021 Autumn Orchid Show. There’ll be plenty of orchids for sale and raffle prizes for lucky winners.
Everyone is welcome, and a gold coin donation is requested.
Where: North Coast Regional Botanic Garden.
When: Saturday, April 24 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, April 25 from 9am to 3pm.
2. Sikh Museum Takeover: From Early Settlers to Bridal Glamour
What: In this community takeover, The Sikh Heritage Museum of Australia shares cultural artefacts, interactive displays relating to Sikh culture and a first-hand insight into how the culturally rich storylines of local Indian weddings have shifted over time.
Where: Culture Hub at Coffs Central. Free admission.
When: Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm until May 29.
3. Coramba Village Market
What: The Coramba Village Market is put on by volunteers each month. Take to the hills for a daytrip with your family and friends to enjoy all your favourite Orara Valley businesses and bush tracks.
The market normally takes place on the third Sunday of each month, however due to Anzac Day the April market will take place on Saturday.
Where: Next to the Coramba Fire Shed off Coramba Rd.
When: Saturday, April 24 from 9am-1.30pm.
4. Anzac Day 2021 services
What: COVID-19 has proved problematic for Anzac Day services, but crowds will this year be able to return to commemorations across the Coffs Coast – albeit in a more restricted fashion.
There will be a joint service between Coffs Harbour, Urunga and Woolgoolga Sub Branches at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium, as well as a number of individual services across the region. To see the list click here.

When: Sunday, April 25.
5. Screenwave International Film Festival 2021 – final days
What: Northern NSW’s premier film festival SWIFF is in its final days for 2021. The 16-day festival includes over 60 different feature films to explore, plus live music, gala events, filmmaker meet-ups, premieres and much more.

Where: Various locations, including the Jetty Theatre and the CHEC Theatre.
When: Festival finishes up on April 29.
6. Uptown Markets
What: Uptown Markets have been serving the Coffs Coast for 29 years, offering everything from farm fresh fruit and vegetables, handmade soaps, bric-a-brac and more.
Rain, hail or shine, the weekly market is fully undercover and is held every week.
Where: Castle St carpark, near Coffs Central.
When: Sunday, April 25 from 6am-2pm.
7. Sci-fi trivia presented by SWIFF & Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival
What: Test your knowledge of all things science-fiction against the best intergalactic minds. You’ll spend an hour exploring audio/video clues, multiple choice quiz questions and all manner of memory-challenging methods to determine who exactly is Coffs Harbour’s greatest sci-fi fan.
This all ages event will be hosted by Simon Foster, Festival Director of the Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival, and will get everyone in the mood for the ultimate ‘bug hunt’ – SWIFF’s 35th anniversary screening of James Cameron’s masterpiece, Aliens (tickets sold separately at the SWIFF website). 8. 6 Degrees CONNECT Pitch & Mentor Sessions
What: Are you looking for inspiration to start a business, keen to learn some pitch tips, or just want to find out what start-ups are new in Coffs? This event is for you.
6 Degrees is a community of local start-up entrepreneurs, freelancers and collaborators, and this free event aims to create an informal, friendly environment for people with innovative ventures to pitch to small groups with local expertise to gain knowledge, and make connections.
Where: Pier Hotel.
When: Tuesday, April 27 from 5pm.
9. A Taste of Ireland 2021
What: ‘A Taste of Ireland―The Irish Music & Dance Sensation’ will make you laugh, cry and jig into the night with a show that has entertained thousands.
Starring dancers from the West End’s Lord of the Dance, Riverdance & Gaelforce Dance, ‘A Taste of Ireland’ delivers all-new sets, costumes, tunes and effects, hot off its premiere New York City run.
Where: Jetty Memorial Theatre.
When: Thursday, April 29 at 4pm and 7.30pm. Tickets available here.
10. Sandwich-bag Dad – Exhibition
What: This dad’s morning ritual of drawing on his 3 daughter’s lunch-bags has been the highlight of the school day for teachers and students at his local school for 8 years (and counting).
Recently, via Instagram, this quirky tradition has also been found to be entertaining 1,000’s of families across the world and now form the foundation of this fun, pun-filled exhibition by Dave Blumenthal, aka The Sandwich-bag dad.

When: Open seven days a week from 10am-4pm. Exhibition runs until June 13.
