EMERGENCY services are responding to reports a boat has capsized while crossing an ocean bar at Nambucca Heads.
It is understood, the skipper of the vessel, the sole occupant, was thrown into the water.
The incident happened around 7am today with rescue agencies attending the location a short time later.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the location around 8am.
