Dogs day at Dorrigo Show

CATTLE dog trials, an increasingly popular event, will again feature at the Dorrigo Show this Saturday.

CATTLE dog trials, an increasingly popular event, will again feature at the Dorrigo Show this Saturday.

This will be the third year and is proving one of the show’s major attractions.

There will be a strong contingent this year, with dogs and handlers travelling long distances to compete.

Prizemoney and trophies are increasing and the Centennial Show in 2011 could well feature Australian titles.

Entries will be taken on the day and as usual the display will take place in front of the main grandstand.

Former Coffs Harbour dog handler Noel Slattery, who now lives in Wandoon, in Queensland, will again be the judge.

Check your schedule for start times and enjoy the best of the dogs on display.
