Mostly sunny with a top of 19. Winds west to south-westerly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the middle of the day then becoming north-westerly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.

Funeral notices

Douglas Frank ‘Kojak’ Duncombe

Passed away peacefully at Mater Christi Aged Care, late of Sawtell. Formerly of Wagga Wagga and Benalla. Dearly loved husband of Jean (dec’d) and loving husband of Betty (dec’d). Aged 91 years.

Kojak’s funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Hogbin Drive Crematorium and Memorial Gardens, Coffs Harbour on Thursday July 22 at 2.30pm.

Kojak’s funeral service will be live streamed on Keith Logue and Sons Facebook page.

Brian William Kelly

July 16, 2021. Peacefully at home with his girls by his side. Late of Boambee East. Much loved husband of Ruth. Aged 67.

Brian’s funeral prayers will be celebrated in the Chapel of Hogbin Drive Crematorium and Memorial Gardens, Coffs Harbour on Friday July 23 at 1.00pm. Thence for interment at Coffs Harbour Lawn Cemetery, Karangi.

Brian’s funeral prayers will be live streamed on Keith Logue and Sons Facebook page.

July 18, 2021. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Late of Coffs Harbour. Much loved husband of Wendy, cherished father and father-in-law of Vanessa & Stephen, Sarah & Terry, and fond friend of Darrin. Adoring grandfather of Tasmin, Tiarne, Karlie (dec), Kamisha, Jacinta and Lachlan.

Aged 82 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim’s funeral service to be held on Friday, 23rd July 2021 at 11:00am, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Gordon Street Coffs Harbour. Thence for private cremation.

William Henry Lionel ‘Bill’ Young

July 16, peacefully at Mater Christi Aged Care with his loving family by his side. Late of Coffs Harbour. Much loved husband of Robyn. Aged 78 years.

A private cremation will be held for Bill.

Lyris Joyce ‘Lee’ Herford

July 15, 2021. Peacefully at Baringa Private Hospital, late of Coffs Harbour. Loving wife of Peter (dec’d). Dearly loved and missed mother of Paul, Bruce and Chris. Aged 92 years.

Lee’s funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Hogbin Drive Crematorium and Memorial Gardens on Friday July 23 at 11.30am.

In lieu of floral tributes the family would appreciate donates to the Cancer Council of NSW, a collection box will be at the chapel. Lee’s funeral will be livestreamed on Keith Logue and Sons Facebook Page.

Nigel Harvey Webster

July 11, 2021. Suddenly at home, late of Dorrigo. Much loved husband of Laura (dec’d). Aged 71.

Nigel’s graveside funeral will be held in Dorrigo Cemetery, Dorrigo on Wednesday July 21 at 10.30am.

Betty Hobbs

July 7, 2021. Late of Sawtell. Much loved wife of Allan (dec’d). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bill, John and Suzanne and Allan (dec’d). Aged 94 years.

Betty’s funeral service will be held in St. Nicholas’ Anglican Church Sawtell on Friday July 23, at 2.30pm. Betty’s funeral services will be live streamed on the Keith Logue and Sons Facebook page.
