All southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway at Urunga have now reopened after a B-double rolled onto its side in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services and traffic crews are on scene after the crash - between Ballards Rd and Waterfall Way - happened at about 3am.
Southbound traffic was being diverted via Giinagay Way, and motorists could rejoin the motorway at Ballards Rd or at the Nambucca Heads interchange.
This diversion was suitable for all vehicles as Giinagay Way is the old Pacific Highway.
Northbound traffic on the highway was not affected.
The motorway reopened at about 7.40am, with an 80km/h speed limit in place.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution, allow extra travel time and follow directions of emergency services and traffic crews on site.
The salvage operation of the stricken B-double is expected to be lengthy.
