Have you got a great business idea but need help getting it off the ground? Perhaps it's time to take it to the experts.
Starting a small business can be daunting and through a series of pitching and mentoring workshops 6 Degrees are hoping to link budding entrepreneurs with some of the best minds in the business community.
6 Degrees CONNECT enables emerging business owners to pitch their ideas and refine their business models with business leaders with a wealth of knowledge in a casual and supportive environment.
The events will be held monthly with the first kicking off on Tuesday April 20 at the Sawtell Success Hub.
An initiative of Coffs Harbour City Council, 6 Degrees was created to support new and established businesses and start-ups on the Coffs Coast.
“Engaging the knowledge and skills of existing business owners with the passion and enthusiasm of new business ideas is a fantastic way to grow our local business economy,” Fiona Barden, Council’s Section Leader, Industry and Destination Development said.
“6 Degrees is excited to facilitate this connection and opportunity.”
The program is being run in partnership with the region’s Chambers of Commerce and Coffs Chamber president Ray Smith said they were excited to be assisting people with new business ideas.
“Assisting emerging business leaders with their needs is a key activity of the Chamber and we look forward to seeing positive business results from the 6 Degrees CONNECT program.”
