A depraved child rapist — who was convicted of sex attacks against seven women as well as a 13-year-old girl in a reign of terror spanning across western Sydney — has been told he has just months to live.
Mustafa Kayirici was recently transferred to Long Bay Hospital following an ongoing battle with terminal brain cancer.
Corrective Services sources said the 31-year-old was told he had just months to live, as correctives staff are told to limit their interactions with the convicted rapist.
“It couldn’t have happened to a better person,” the source told NewsLocal. “He is known for trying to relive his so-called glory days, wanting to talk to officers and health staff, we are all working to put a stop to that.
“The Devil is dying, it is what he deserves — he has weeks, maybe a few months at most to live.”
Kayirici was convicted in August last year and sentenced to 38 years in prison for his vile attacks, which included the rape of a schoolgirl on June 24, 2016.
Before sentencing Kayirici to 25 and a half years behind bars without parole, Judge Jane Culver heard the 31-year-old lured the teen into his car at Queen St Parramatta before driving to an underground car park where he raped her at knifepoint.
The court also heard the man repeatedly threatened violence and filmed videos where the girl was ordered to provide consent.
Kayirici then took the girl to Barton Park, North Parramatta, as well as another basement car park in Telopea where he forced her to perform a series of sex acts.
The horrifying five-hour ordeal continued inside his car near a Telopea unit block, as well as a fire escape in the building, before returning to his car once again where he travelled to Ermington and a car park in Sydney Olympic Park.
“If you tell anyone, I will release those videos,” he said. “How would you like it if your dad saw that … I can hold it against you.”
Just five days before the horrific ordeal, Kayirici had raped a 22-year-old escort at gunpoint before stealing $700 from her purse.
The 31-year-old will not see the date he is eligible to be released from prison in 2066.
A Corrective Services spokeswoman said any decision on the provision of health services for any inmate is determined by the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.
“We do not comment on inmates’ circumstances for privacy reasons,” she said.
