Ray Hadley has slammed Channel 9 over their ongoing national television airing of interviews with the daughter of the Queensland cop killers Nathaniel and Stacey Train.

Hadley’s blast was directed towards Nine Entertainment — the company that owns 2GB radio show — during his program on Wednesday morning.

It comes after two police officers and a neighbour were killed in an ambush shooting by the Trains at Wieambilla in December.

Madelyn Train, the first child of Nathaniel and Stacey Train, made her third appearance on Channel 9 in an interview with reporter Pippa Bradshaw on the A Current Affair program on Wednesday night.

When Ms Train was asked by the reporter if her parents disliked the police, she replied:

“No that’s not fair to say. I think they had a lot of respect for the police, they didn’t respect the police officers that jumped over the fence.”

In response, Ms Bradshaw said that people “don’t have the right” to shoot someone who walks onto their property.

“Lots of farmers would argue differently,” Madelyn Train replied.

Acknowledging the grief Madelyn Train would be enduring after losing her parents, Hadley instead pointed his aim his employer Nine Entertainment for allowing these interviews to take place.

“Why has she appeared on 9 News twice, and on A Current Affair last night?” he asked listeners.

“Channel 9 news has now given two interviews with Madelyn Train. A lot of airtime.

“And then last night, for five or six minutes, another opportunity for this woman to try to justify the behaviour of these murderous bastards.”

Hadley highlighted the brutal nature in which the officers and a neighbour were killed.

“These people, particularly one of them, were executed,” he said.

“(They) were shot, injured and then executed at point blank range.”

The radio host doubled down by calling out the person who may have been behind the decision-making for airing the interviews on national television.

“For anyone to keep giving airtime for this young woman … who obviously is grieving the loss of her mother (and) father … for god’s sake, enough is enough,”,” Hadley said.

“Out of respect for the dead police officers and Mr Dare, can we stop it.

“If it’s Darren Wick, Darren I plead to you, stop airing this stuff, it’s offensive and the coppers in Queensland and the coppers in New South Wales don't deserve this crap, stop it please it’s just not right.”
