Alstonville’s Jarrah Olivia Mook Nock faces Mullumbimby court after attacking NSW Ambulance paramedics

A violent woman had to be repeatedly sedated by paramedics because she spat at them, kicked one in the head and tried to bite another.
NSW Ambulance was called to attend to a patient suspected to have suffered a heart attack at a Mullumbimby address, but found Jarrah Olivia Mook Nock was only drunk.
When paramedics tried to assist Nock, who was laying on the ground, she turned on them.
Nock was verbally and physically abusive, Mullumbimby Local Court heard on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old from Alstonville faced the court pleading guilty to two counts of common assault over the incident on November 15, 2021.
Police facts state Nock was “spitting at (paramedics), lashing out and attempting to kick them while using foul language”.
Paramedics were forced to sedate Nock after she tried to bite a male paramedic as he was trying to restrain her.
But she still managed to kick a female paramedic in the back of her head and neck, knocking her off her seat.
Nock was sedated a second time and had to be placed in a mechanical restraint device set aside for high risk patients.
The paramedic who was kicked suffered headaches for five days, court documents state.
Nock was taken to the Tweed Heads Hospital for a mental health assessment.
Magistrate Karen Stafford sentenced Nock to serve a two-year conditional release order.
No conviction was recorded.
