A Murwillumbah woman launched into a violent rage in a Byron Shire medical centre over her “f--king script”, forcing a receptionist to go home in shock.

A woman burst into an abusive temper tantrum in Ocean Shores Medical Centre after being told she had missed her doctor’s appointment.
Emily Louise Saris, 30, pleaded guilty at Byron Bay Court on Monday to common assault and intentionally or recklessly damaging property.
Saris wreaked havoc in the medical centre’s waiting room by smashing the self-service check-in computer and verbally abusing the doctor.
She was told she had missed her appointment on November 11 last year court documents state.
“I’m not going anywhere until I receive my f---ing script,” the Murwillumbah woman said.
Saris then pointed at the receptionist and told her she was “rude” and “shouldn’t be a receptionist”, police facts state.
She then pushed over the woman’s computer monitor with enough force the receptionist had to put out her hands to prevent it from hitting her face and chest.
The receptionist took the rest of the day off due to the shock of the incident.
Police questioned Saris afterwards and she appeared “remorseful”.
Saris told them “she was having the worst day of her life”.
She was speaking to the medical centre to arrange a payment plan to fix damages. The self check-in monitor will cost $2500 to replace.
Magistrate Karen Stafford has adjourned the case to March 7 for sentence.
