Veuve Clicquot to open first hotel in Byron hinterland this week

The world’s first Hotel Clicquot – described as “a place to live the Veuve Clicquot lifestyle” – is popping up on the NSW North Coast but only for a limited time.

Exclusive and for a limited time only, champagne lovers will have a chance to enjoy the first ever Veuve Clicquot hotel near Byron Bay.

From this week, guests will be able to stay for two days at the Coopers Shoot property, where they will be offered Clicquot-inspired experiences including a Clicquot gastronomy, private helicopter tours of the stunning Byron coastline and chauffeured day trips in a vintage car.

The experience will include surfing lessons on Clicquot-branded longboards and a 24-hour concierge service.

There will be games of petanque on the lawn and relaxing poolside massages, all with a glass of Veuve Clicquot in hand.

Veuve Clicquot president and CEO Jean-Marc Gallot said the pop-up hotel will be a place for Australians to recharge their batteries.

“Our House has always sparkled with optimism and a sense of joie de vivre,” he said.

“Every year, our Clicquot in the Sun series of events celebrates the joy of the summer season.

“This Hotel Clicquot luxury experience is perhaps our most ambitious and exciting expression of this spirit to date, with its first iteration in beautiful Byron Bay.”

Hotel Clicquot will welcome guests from November 24 to December 5.
