A BULLET has been found at the former primary school of Barnaby Joyce along with a warning of a shooting on December 2 which is polling day in the New England by-election.
NSW police confirmed the incident but stressed it was not related to the election, though they conceded a polling booth will be set up at Quirindi Public School tomorrow.
The bullet was accompanied by graffiti warning of a “shooting” which would take place tomorrow. The items were found on November 21 are are being forensically examined by police.
“Police from the Oxley Local Area Command are investigating after the discovery of an item and graffiti at an educational facility in Quirindi,” a NSW Police spokesman told The Australian.
