Brawl breaks out at wedding function in western Sydney
A BOOZY wedding turned pear-shaped in western Sydney in the early hours of Sunday morning when a brawl broke out between vomiting guests. Three police officers were allegedly assaulted by a 27-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl.

THREE police officers were allegedly assaulted when a boozy wedding turned pear-shaped in western Sydney in the early hours of Sunday morning ending in a brawl between vomiting guests.
Police were called to South Street in Granville following reports of the fight between wedding guests outside a function venue just before 1am.
On arrival, police allege the officers attempted to break up the group before they became aggressive towards them.

A 27-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of assault against a police officer for allegedly kicking a male senior constable and scratching the face of another male senior constable before being arrested.
She will appear in court at a later date.
Police also allege a 17-year-old girl punched a probationary constable from behind.
The girl was taken to hospital for minor injuries and was later arrested when given the green light by doctors.
Two women were seen being treated in an ambulance while another guest leaned against a wall and vomited on the street.
It is believed several guests were treated for intoxication.
Guests were congregating outside wedding reception venue The Grand Royal on South Street as emergency crews cleared the scene.
