A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been accidentally shot in the back while hunting on a property outside Bathurst.
The boy was with three other people on a property just before 9am when a 12-gauge shotgun fired while it was lying in the back of a ute.
It’s understood the ute rolled back and hit something which made the gun fire.
Another person in the hunting group drove the boy to the end of the property’s driveway on Busby Rd at Sofala where an ambulance met them.
