When evil is attempting to win freedom, no argument is too ludicrous.
Michael Guider, a self-confessed paedophile since a young teenager, has not preyed on any boys and girls since he was locked up. Go figure.
It’s not a joke. This is too serious for that. In another slap in the face for all his victims, this is indeed a submission Guider put to the court through his publicly-funded defence team in his favour as he argued to get out of jail.

Miranda Devine: No justice in releasing paedophile Michael Guider
Samantha Knight’s killer scared about being released
“He (Guider) did not continue to offend after being sentenced for like offending, or after being sentenced to a term of imprisonment. This is a highly relevant factor in assessing the risk he poses in the commission of a further sexual offence,” Guider’s legal team put in his submission to the Supreme Court.
There is another submission which is even sicker.
He is less likely to reoffend and sexually assault boys and girls “hands on” when he gets out - because child pornography has caught up with “the modern digital world” where it is “readily available”.
Does this mean that the strict conditions put on his access to the internet on his release should be removed encase he has the urge to be “hands on” again?
During his two decades behind bars he has completed courses from Bible study, poetry writing, servicing small engines, education for sex offender to assertiveness training and database fundamentals.
What he has not learned is honesty or remorse. Samantha Knight’s body has never been found.
Guider has not been freed because of the parole authority. He has been freed because he was allowed to plead guilty to the manslaughter of Samantha Knight when he should have gone to trial for murder and then because the courts let the public down and did not keep evil locked up for much longer.
