NRL Footy Show host Beau Ryan is the latest in a growing list of footy stars to be snapped dining with members of one of Sydney’s most controversial families at Star Casino.
A video has emerged of Ryan at Golden Century Chinese restaurant with Jihad and Rachad Alameddine — two of the diners snapped with Parramatta players Corey Norman and Junior Paulo, and Penrith’s James Segeyaro on Friday night, shortly before Norman was allegedly found by security in possession of “several capsules”.
The video, taken at the same restaurant as Friday night’s affair, was posted to Rachad’s Instagram account with the caption; “Chilling with @beauyandkara”.
“I’m celebrating my birthday at Century and, ah, just with my man Richie and my man Zeus,” Ryan can be heard saying in the video.
Rachad also posted a photograph of the now-infamous dinner with Norman, which was attended by former Nomads bikie Paul Younan, as well as Rafat Alameddine, the brother of terror-accused Talal Alameddine. Rafat, 25, is on bail having been charged with fraud offences.
Rafat and Talal Alameddine are defending the charges against each of them.
“Dinner with the boys!!! Great having you’s (sic) tonight @coreynorman @juniorp93 @chicko9 !!!” Rachad captioned the photo on Friday night.
Ryan said he did not know the Alameddines and had been approached by a member of the party to wish one of the boys a happy birthday in a private function room at the restaurant.

“I was with my wife and daughter and family at the Century and a guy came in and asked and to wish him a happy birthday, I’ve never met them before,” Ryan said.
“There was a group of about 30 of them and when I walked out I did the exact the same thing to another woman after he sister asked me to wish her a happy birthday.
The Daily Telegraph revealed yesterday that Norman was the subject of a police investigation following the incident at Star Casino.
The star play maker allegedly produced “a small container containing several capsules,” after he and a friend were subjected to a random metal detector scan by casino security as they entered the Pyrmont venue about 11pm.
After speaking to security, Norman was allowed to leave, however police were contacted and officers from Sydney City Local Area Command are investigating the matter. A spokesman for the NSW Police Force said the capsules had been sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Norman trained with his Eels team mates at Pirtek Stadium on Sunday morning and is expected to play in tonight’s clash against the Storm in Melbourne.
