NEVER short on confidence, Barnaby Joyce reckons he’s doing a cracking job as Deputy Prime Minister.

Mr Joyce, who famously took on Johnny Depp, Amber Heard and their dogs, said he would rate himself an 8.5.

“Maybe that makes me sound full of myself, but I know how bloody hard I’ve worked. A pollie who scores themselves six or less is pretty useless,” he said in the latest issue of GQ magazine.

The straight-talker also said he was warm and driven but a little lonely.

“As you go up the tree in politics, your circle of friends becomes less and less,” Mr Joyce said.
