Driving through Hinterland Way towards Lennox Head, there is a property that has a distinctive and unique entrance â it has a wooden arch that frames the most glorious vistas of the Northern Rivers coastline.
The entrance offers no clues on what kind of property exists behind it, besides the promise of vast coastal views.
There were no clues, until now.
The property at 112 Hinterland Way Rd, Knockrow, is up for sale, managed by Janis Perkins of Real Estate Distinction Byron Bay.
Ms Perkins said property was on the market for the first time in 32 years.
“It would suit a wide variety of investors,” she said.
“It could be a wonderful lifestyle property, but it could also be a great cattle property, since it has plenty of water and that’s very important these days.”
Set on 7.94ha, the property is located in one of the most sought-after areas on the Northern Rivers.
The existing house is a three-bedroom, brick and tile home that includes a slow combustion fire.
The property also features 11 solar panels.
A 50-year-old gum tree flanks the home, while two spring-fed dams help water the established fruit trees – mango, mandarin, custard apple, passionfruit and tangelos to pick and eat from, as well as ornamental trees including jacaranda and frangipani.
Due to the location of the property, owners would never see any neighbours, guaranteeing privacy and peace.
The property is expected to fetch offers for $2.5 million and up, and if not sold beforehand, it will go for auction on July 17.
