How to score a date ahead of Valentine's Day

VALENTINE'S Day is a little over a week away, and now is the time to start laying some groundwork if you don't plan on spending alone.

If you have had your eye on someone for a while, or are struggling to break through the immovable force known as the 'friend zone', the national day of love is the day to take a chance.

Here are some tips to ensure that man or woman you've had your eye on says yes to a date on February 14.

They can be cheesier than the dairy section at the supermarket, but that's what makes them so good.
