GOLD Coast Titans coach Neil Henry has issued a warning to the NRL - beware of a scorned Jarryd Hayne.

Henry said Hayne was back to his best last week, scoring two tries and setting up another against last-placed Wests Tigers, after a shocking performance State of Origin game two which saw calls for him to be dropped.

NSW coach Laurie Daley has guaranteed Hayne's place in the Blues side for the July 12 decider but Henry expects the Hayne Plane will have more to prove against St George Illawarra on Friday night.

"He's very honest in admitting his performance in Origin II wasn't up to scratch, he made a couple of errors there,” Henry said.

"He'll try to make amends and the best way he can do that is by having a solid preparation via club footy.

The Titans will be at near full strength for their clash with the Dragons, with the returns of Tyrone Roberts and Chris McQueen off-setting the loss of Kane Elgey (sternum).

Dragons coach Paul McGregor said his side will be wary of the Titans despite the fact the Gold Coast is 14th on the ladder.
