Emergency services get large shed fire in Pearces Creek under control
Eight crews were called to the fire in the Ballina Shire, with teams working quickly in an effort to prevent the flames from spreading to other buildings and nearby bushland.

Emergency services attended a fire at Pearces Creek, in the Ballina Shire, on Wednesday morning.
A NSW Rural Fire Service spokesman said the triple-0 call came through at 11.45am.
The fire at 610 Houghlahans Creek Road, Pearces Creek, was controlled by 20 RFS personnel from Newrybar, Alstonville, Clunes, Boatharbour and Alphadale Rural Fire Brigades, plus three Fire Rescue NSW crews from Alstonville and Goonellabah.
NSW Police, Ambulance and Essential Energy teams were also on scene.
The spokesman confirmed the fire was contained to the two structures, which sustained significant damage.
Crews worked to extinguish structure and prevent spread to adjoining house and bushland.
The fire took just over an hour to contain.
No-one was hurt, and there is no official cause for the fire.
