Bachelorette Angie Kent chooses Carlin Sterritt, sends Timm Hanly home

It is too early to talk marriage and kids for The Bachelorette couple Angie Kent and Carlin Sterritt — but the pair are finally able to publicly declare their love for each other.
The path to marriage will be easier, though, with The Daily Telegraph able to reveal Sterritt is now divorced.
“There is no doubt in our mind that this is a long-term thing and we are not just in it for the sake of it,” Sterritt, 31, said after Kent chose him over fellow contestant Timm Hanly in the explosive season finale.
“We definitely want to pursue a future together but talking about marriage is pretty early.”

Despite being favourite from the early stages of the reality dating show, Sterritt threw a spanner in the works when he told Kent he was still married, although separated.
“I am now divorced,” Sterritt said.
“It was pretty straightforward because we didn’t have any property or kids together, so we just filled out all the forms online.”
For Kent, seeing the paperwork came as a relief.
“To me it has always just been a piece of paper but … there was this feeling I did get, this sense of relief,” she said.
The Bachelorette was filmed months ago — meaning Kent and Sterritt have had to keep their romance secret so as not to spoil the show for viewers.
Now they are simply looking forward to enjoying life’s normal pleasures like dining out together.
