Suzanne Hadley’s police-ordered application for an ADVO was heard in Newcastle Local Court on Monday.
Parish, a former assistant coach for the NSW Blues rugby league squad, was placed on a 12-month order preventing him from assaulting or threatening, stalking, harassing or intimidating Hadley.
Parish must also not intentionally or recklessly destroy or damage any property belonging to his ex-girlfriend and may not approach her or contact her in any way.
It is the second time Hadley, 55, has applied for an AVO against Parish, who she dated following her break-up with the 2GB morning show presenter in 2014.
